Quy Nhon is a beautiful coastal city and is being invested in tourism in the past few years. Finding a place to stay for a few days in Quy Nhon is not difficult because there are a lot of choices. The average accommodation prices in Quy Nhon can be divided into 3 different ranges depending on your needs:
- Luxury resorts: From VND 2,000,000 to VND 30,000,000 / night ($90 – $1300).
- Hotels: From VND 500,000 to VND 2,000,000 / night ($20 – $90).
- Cheap motels and homestays: From VND 150,000 to VND 500,000 / night ($6 – $20).
Prices will vary depending on the day you book. You can check specific prices, room types, and book online on Booking, Agoda or Airbnb.
You should book your stay for at least 15 days in advance to get the best room. If you plan to travel in peak periods (public holidays or peak tourist season from late May to early August), it’s best to book 1-2 months in advance if possible.
I will introduce some places for each segment so you could easily choose a place. Whatever budget you have, you can find something that suits you here.

1. LUXURY RESORTS IN QUY NHON
Here are some of the following luxury resorts which is suitable for those who want a relaxing and peaceful vacation. However, all of them are located far from the city center to ensure a secluded experience.

- Anantara Quy Nhon Villas (5-star)
Location: Bai Dai, Ghenh Rang – located about 12km south of the city center, right next to Avani Resort.
Price range: VND 7,000,000 – VND 30,000,000 / night ($300 – $1300).
Anantara has only 26 villas scattered in a green campus overlooking a private bay. All villas here are designed with a unique and sophisticated style. Anantara is built with traditional handicrafts and displays the artworks of indigenous people.
Almost all of the interior furniture is made from eco-friendly materials. The common space of the whole area is not too large, but the room interior is very nice with a beautiful view and free fruit in the room.

Each villa owns an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by small tropical gardens filled with colorful flowers, from where guests can admire the magnificent sunset on the sea.
Breakfast is not buffet but à la carte, mostly free except for some specials like Waygu beef. The cakes are so delicious, my friend didn’t like sweets, only tried a few pieces, but ended up eating all of them.
- Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa (5-star)
Location: Bai Dai, Ghenh Rang – located about 12km south of the city center, right next to Anantara Resort.
Price range: VND 2,000,000 – VND 5,000,000 / night ($85 – $220).
Avani has a sophisticated architecture combining ancient Champa style with modern style. It is fully equipped with restaurant, bar, game room, fitness, free yoga class… All the rooms have a beautiful sea view but not as spacious as my expectation. The swimming pool is nice but smaller than I imagined. Staffs are very friendly and helpful at all times.
Tre restaurant in the resort serves both Asian and Western cuisine for all meals in day. For breakfast, the day I arrived was a weekday so they served quite a few types of dishes, most of them Western food. The taste is good and very fresh. For lunch and dinner, you can try here or go to the beach in front of Life’s A Beach (about 1km away) to eat seafood in the evening, or you can go to the nearby fishing village with delicious and cheap seafood eateries.
I especially like the spa here, the entrance is like a forest with lush trees. The spa area is located on high, dividing many separate rooms with sea view.
It takes about 15-20 minute drive from the city center. It’s not too much far away so you still can explore the famous tourist places, but there is nothing in the neighborhood, you have to take the free shuttle bus of resort, or other vehicles such as taxi, rented car or motorbike to go to other travel spots or restaurants.
- FLC Quy Nhon Beach & Golf Resort (5-star)
Location: Nhon Ly – located about 20km east of the city center.
Price range:
Hotel: VND 1,500,000 – VND 5,500,000 / night ($65 – $240)
Resort: Villa (2 to 4 bedrooms) VND 5,000,000 – VND 13,000,000 / night ($220 – $560)
FLC Quy Nhon Beach & Golf Resort is a complex with a range of hotel, villas, golf links, Zoo Safari park, private beach, swimming pool, spa… Within the premises of the FLC complex, there are two accommodation areas which are Hotel area (named FLC Luxury Hotel Quy Nhon) and Villas area (named FLC Luxury Resort Quy Nhon). They are also building more facilities, including shopping malls…
In the last trip, I stayed in a four-bedroom Villa and my experience was good. The villa is spacious with very new and modern furniture. There is a mini private swimming pool in each Villa. If you prefer a larger pool, you can go to the huge swimming pool at hotel area located next to the private beach.

The outdoor space of the whole complex area is also very beautiful, bougainvillea is grown everywhere and extremely brilliant in the sun.
Although the campus is very large, the transport within the resort is convenient. Just call the reception and you will have a free electric cars come to the villa door after several minutes. This service is for all guests staying at FLC.

However, the breakfast buffet in the villa check-in area is poor. You should go to Salsa restaurant for more types of food. Both are free, breakfast buffet is included in the room price. I don’t appreciate the food in FLC restaurants. You should go to Eo Gio nearby, there are many seafood restaurants such as Huong Duong, Hoang Dat… It only takes a few kilometers to get there by taxi, or you can contact the restaurant to be picked up (free for FLC guests).

I have not yet stayed at the hotel, so I cannot review. But according to the information I have, you should note that if you book a two-bedroom hotel room, the master bedroom with pool view and sea view is very beautiful, but the small bedroom has no view and the interior is inferior. If you’re holidaying with children, it’s a good enough choice. But if you travel with friends, a group of 3, 4 adult people, and want to share the room, please consider this option again. It could lead to a battle for the master bedroom!!! FLC is also quite far away, 20km from the city center, but it is very close to spots such as Ky Co, Eo Gio. If you only want to take a relax vacation, you can consider FLC.

FLC is located in the eastern part of Quy Nhon, if you stay here, you can easily visit famous places such as Eo Gio, Ky Co island, Hon Kho island, Trung Luong camping site.
- Crown Retreat Quy Nhon Resort (4-star)
Location: Trung Luong – located about 25km east northeast of the city center.
Price range: VND 1,800,000 – VND 5,000,000 / night ($80 – $220).
Crown Retreat has pure Vietnamese architecture with 50 luxurious bungalows. Its design close to nature when using materials such as bamboo, wood in combination with rustic coconut leaf roofs.

Bungalows are scattered from the hill to the beach. When I stayed at Crown Retreat this June, I booked Seaview Bungalow for about VND 2,400,000 ($100). If you book Beachfront Bungalow, you can step down from the room door right to the beach.
The food at Pine Kitchen restaurant is tasty, from the juice to the delicious char-grilled oysters with cheese.

Crown Retreat is located in the northeast of Quy Nhon, closest to Ong Nui pagoda and Trung Luong camping site. You have to go south more than 10km to reach Eo Gio, Ky Co island, Phuong Mai sand dunes, and go nearly 30km to reach the city center. If you like a quiet place, Crown Retreat is a pretty good choice. But if you want to explore many places, traveling is relatively inconvenient.
- Casa Marina Resort (4-star)
Location: Ghenh Rang – located about 11km south of the city center.
Price range: VND 1,300,000 – VND 5,000,000 / night ($55 – $220).
Looking from far away, the resort looks like a very beautiful and poetic miniature village. From the first steps into Casa Marina, you will see a large garden filled with green trees. This entire resort is like an oasis in the middle of a coconut forest with a direct view to the sea.

Casa has hotel rooms and villas with garden view, pool view, sea view and beach front. I booked beach front bungalow and really recommend this room. It’s really a private world that you can step out of your room door to go directly to the beach sand, or you can wake up and just pull the curtains to watch the dawn.
The room design are minimalistic and very close to nature, if I don’t want to say that the interior is a bit too simple and rustic, but still clean.
Staffs are very enthusiastic and take care of guests. Free electric car to travel within resort campus comes to pick up very quickly.

Another plus point is that the fishing village next to Casa Marina has a lot of eateries on the left-hand side of the beach. There is a newly opened restaurant called Thao Nguyen, which is extremely good and cheap. The seafood is very fresh, still swimming when it is prepared to cook. If you want to eat Western food, there are 2 restaurants right on the shore. I ate at the restaurant inside and the food is very delicious, especially fresh pizza.
At Casa Marina, there are 2 free kayaks for guests to use. You can go rowing in the early morning or in the afternoon to catch the beautiful landscape on the sea.
2. STAY IN QUY NHON CITY CENTER
The two most bustling areas in city center are currently along An Duong Vuong street and Xuan Dieu coastal road. The beach along these two roads is also the main beach in Quy Nhon, nice and crowded. An Duong Vuong Street has only a few hotels such as Hai Au and Hoang Yen are close to the coast, but there is a park at the beachfront area so most other hotels are located across the street. Xuan Dieu coastal road is busier, hotels along this road are being built a lot.
Here are some hotels and homestays in the city center that you might consider for your trip:
2.1. CITY CENTER HOTELS IN QUY NHON
- Anya Premier Hotel Quy Nhon (5-star) and Anya Hotel Quy Nhon (4-star)
Location and Price range:
Anya Premier: 44 An Duong Vương street, VND 2,000,000 – VND 4,000,000 / night ($85 – $170).
Anya Hotel: 3 Nguyen Trung Tin street, VND 1,300,000 – VND 3,700,000 / night ($55 – $160).

Anya is a new hotel chain in the center of Quy Nhon city and according to me, it is the most worthwhile place to stay in the central area. Anya Premier is more upscale and located off the coastal road, so you only need to cross the street to reach the central beach of the city. Anya Hotel is located nearby but a little deeper on the city side.
I had 1-night stay at Anya Hotel, Superior room for 1,300,000/night ($55). Although this is not a premium room class, everything makes me satisfied. All furniture is new and clean with modern design. I also enjoyed a variety of breakfast dishes. I went out all day so when booking a hotel in the city, I just need it to be clean, comfortable and convenient to travel.

The swimming pool was not so big but I really enjoy its comfortable space. When I finished a day out and came back to the hotel to go swimming, it was around 6pm, there were not many guests there, I can immerse myself in the cool water while listening to melodious music from the bar area. There is also a children’s playroom right next to the pool to free you parents for some moments to enjoy your pool time.

The only thing I don’t like is that when I stayed there (this June 2020), there were a lot of buildings being built around Anya Hotel, so the view from the room was not attractive at all and there are noisy sounds at the outdoor areas. However, if you stay at Anya Premier, the view is more beautiful because it has sea view.

- Seagull Hotel – Hai Au Hotel (4-star)
Location: 489 An Duong Vuong street, Quy Nhon city.
Price range: VND 900,000 – VND 4,400,000 / night ($40 – $190).
Seagull hotel is located on An Duong Vuong Street, one of the most beautiful beach roads in Quy Nhon. It has a very nice location, right on the beach. Get out of the hotel, you can step into the beach but do not have to cross the street.
This hotel has been opened for a long time so its facilities are not up to the current 4-star standards. However, the rooms are still clean and have sea view. Most of the rooms are designed towards the sea, just open the window and you will see a beautiful sea space in front of your eyes.
The hotel offers many facilities such as bar, restaurant, massage sauna, gym, spa, tennis courts, outdoor pool. The bar on the 12th floor is only open at night, here you can see the panorama of Quy Nhon city at night.

- Muong Thanh Quy Nhon Hotel (4-star)
Location: 2 Nguyen Hue street, Quy Nhon city.
Price range: VND 900,000 – VND 1,700,000 / night ($40 – $70).
The plus point of Muong Thanh Quy Nhon hotel is the location to go to the beach conveniently. Compared to Muong Thanh hotel in other provinces, the facilities are older, the rooms are not as nice as they are, but also clean, large, fully equipped and quiet. Staffs are friendly and enthusiastic.
The minus point is that breakfast dishes are not abundant. The swimming pool is small and more suitable for children, but they organize swimming lessons and let outside guests to swim, so there is no space for hotel guests during peak hours.
- The Kila Boutique Hotel (3-star)
Location: 6 Truong Van Cua street, Quy Nhon city.
Price range: VND 800,000 – VND 1,900,000 / night ($35 – $80).

This hotel has just opened this year 2020 with a very lovely and modern design. Rooms are large, clean, with new furniture. I really like the design style of this hotel.

However, the swimming pool is quite small, located right near the check-in area, so it is not very convenient for swimming.
- Mento Quy Nhon Hotel (3-star)
Location: 409 Nguyen Hue street, Quy Nhon city.
Price range: VND 700,000 – VND 1,000,000 / night ($30 – $45).

In the 3-star hotel segment, Mento is one of the best hotels in Quy Nhon. Mento is located right in the city center, near Night Market and city beach. It has very new and clean furniture, delicious buffet breakfast with beautiful sea view from the breakfast room, swimming pool, gym and sauna.
Although the room is a bit small, but for this price range, I think Mento is a really good option.
- Huong Viet Hotel Quy Nhon (4-star)
Location: 102 Xuan Dieu street, Quy Nhon city.
Price range: VND 1,000,000 – VND 2,000,000 / night ($40 – $85).
Last year, I booked a few rooms for my mother and her friends to stay here. They were very satisfied with the hotel service, delicious breakfast, new and clean rooms and friendly staff.
However, going to the beach is a bit far because the hotel is located opposite the embankment, so the beach here is not clean. You need to walk a bit to go to a more beautiful beach area.

Swimming pool is quite spacious, with separate swimming areas for children and adults. View from the pool is very nice, you can see the whole Quy Nhon beach from here.
2.2. CITY CENTER HOMESTAYS IN QUY NHON

3. STAY IN SOUTH QUY NHON
In South Quy Nhon, Bai Xep area is very popular for foreign tourists. If you feel overwhelmed with the bustling life of the city and want to run away to somewhere far away to relax your soul, Bai Xep is a hidden paradise for you.
- Life’s A Beach
Location: Bai Xep, Quy Nhon.
Price range: VND 120,000 – VND 300,000 / person / night ($5.2 – $13).
Life’s A Beach is more than 10km from the city center. This homestay was built by two British men, Gavin and Steve. According to their sharing, over the years traveling around Southeast Asia, they decided to stop at Bai Xep, a beautiful beach with a small fishing village, to build Life’s A Beach.
There are few tourists here, almost foreigners. This area is not very developed, so airy and peaceful. With folk-style architecture and natural materials such as bamboo, straw, coconut leaves… the space is very suitable for those who like the rustic country style.

There are dorm rooms and private bungalows, and also a bar that plays music until late at night. You can eat at homestay or go out and buy fresh seafood from local people to have a very fresh meal.
- Haven Vietnam
Location: Bai Xep, Quy Nhon.
Price range: VND 700,000 – VND 1,200,000 / night ($30 – $50).
If you feel overwhelmed with the bustling life of the city and want to run away to somewhere far away to relax your soul, Haven (Haven Guesthouse & Big Tree Backpackers) is a hidden paradise for you.

Haven is actually just a small and friendly guesthouse located right on the beach of Bai Xep fishing village, only about 15km south of the city center. The owner of this guesthouse was formerly a Backpacker who came here to explore, but then because they love the life and the people here, they decided to choose Bai Xep as their last stop and Haven is their home.
In terms of rooms, Haven currently has 14 private rooms and 6-bed social room. More than a guesthouse, Haven has truly become a common home for tourists.

I hope that after checking the above list, you can find somewhere nice to stay during your holiday trip to Quy Nhon. If you have any questions, please leave your comment below. I will try to answer them as soon as possible.
